I remember exactly where I was when I first fell in love with the Young Avengers. I was sitting in a big lecture hall, in a class that my friends and I had mentally checked out of when, on the first day, the professor admitted he knew nothing of the subject. So we brought our comics to the class and shared them. One of my friends handed me this comic and said, “I think you will really like this one.” I thought it was okay, but then I got to this page.
Me: OMG they broke the rose window!
Iron Lad: OMG you broke the rose window!
Me: I love you, Young Avengers.
